PACC Advocacy Efforts
Having the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce on your side means you have a dedicated advocate for your business. Whether you're facing challenges with permits, need help finding a location, or navigating local regulations, we're here to connect you with the right resources and people to get things done.
We work to represent your interests with government and ensure the business community has a strong, united voice. Each year, we set a legislative agenda focused on issues that matter most to our members, helping to create a pro-business environment in Peabody.
Your input shapes our advocacy. If there's an issue affecting your business or if you’d like the Chamber's support, let us know by filling out the Request for Support form.
Together, we can help strengthen Peabody’s business community.
Government Relations Committee
The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce advocates for policies that support a strong local economy and healthy business climate. Through our Government Relations Committee, we work with local officials, businesses, educators, and civic leaders to promote good public policy and foster partnerships that benefit the entire community.
Our advocacy focuses on issues that:
- Affect the business community as a whole
- Impact a large portion of Chamber members
- Influence local economic development
- Affect key industries like manufacturing, services, tourism, and retail
- Shape the overall business climate
When issues meet these guidelines, we take public positions and offer official support. For issues outside these guidelines, we help connect businesses with the right stakeholders, agencies, or elected officials to address their concerns.
Whether you’re launching a new business and facing red tape, or an established company navigating new laws, the Chamber is here to help.
Need help? Fill out our Request for Support form (linked at the top of this page) or contact us today to let us know how we can assist you.
