Helping Cancer Patients Get the Care They Need

We often hear about "BUY LOCAL", and for good reason. Buying local strengthens local economies.

Chamber for Good is about "DONATE LOCAL". So many wonderful, small organizations remain hidden in the shadows of our own neighborhoods fueled not by large marketing budgets but by the zeal and dedication of a few individuals who see a local need and do their best to fill it.

As a Chamber for Good, the Peabody Area Chamber also seeks to support those larger charitable organizations that truly do have a local presence and take their role of community partner seriously.

The key to Chamber for Good is that it leverages the strength and character of the Peabody Area Chamber to serve as the conduit connecting local donors to local charities serving local needs.

During the month of March, we are highlighting the mission and advocacy opportunities of the American Cancer Society.

You can help cancer patients get the care they need. Since 2005 our Road To Recovery® volunteers have provided 6.3 million free rides to cancer patients who had nowhere else to turn. But we need more drivers. Because for many patients, getting to and from treatment is one of their toughest challenges. Become a Road To Recovery volunteer driver today!  Flexible hours & locations.
