PACC Scholarship Program

Annually, the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships to area high school seniors who will further their education at a post secondary level.   Application packages are available through the Guidance Offices at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Bishop Fenwick, St John’s Prep, or via download.  The Chamber offers 3 different scholarships based on a students involvement with community service, a career in business, or participation in student government and/or political science major.  Each category will be awarded one $1,000 scholarship, additional $500 scholarships may be awarded based on the decision of the scholarship committee.

The 2019 Scholarship Applications will be posted on this page by March 1st 2019.

Applicants must MEET only ONE of the following criteria to be eligible for an award:

  • Peabody resident  OR

  • Be employed by a Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce member (regardless of where they reside), OR

  • Is the son or daughter of any person employed by a Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce member (regardless of where they reside)

The application process includes academic history, a short essay, documentation of community service followed by an interview.   Selection is made by the Scholarship Committee and is not strictly needs or academic based.  Amount of award varies.

Funds for the scholarship program are generated 100% from the PACC Torigian Golf Tournament held each June.  The 2019 Torigian Golf Tournament will be held June 20th, at The Meadows in Peabody.
